From a weekend retreat to a life on the water
Terry and Sherrie went looking for a lake retreat after Terry retired from the Georgia State Patrol, a place for family and friends to gather. After visiting several area lakes, Lake R.L. Harris (Lake Wedowee) was easily the first choice.
When they became empty-nesters in 2009, making Wedowee a full-time home was an easy decision. They earned their real estate licenses and have loved introducing others to the charm of this beautiful corner of Alabama ever since.
